MURRAY, KY (News First) – On April 18th, 2024, around 5:00pm the Calloway County and Marshall County Sheriff’s Offices arrested a Paris, TN man at a local business in Murray, KY for distributing large amounts of Crystal Methamphetamine.
Over the last several months, Detectives have investigated and identified 29-year-old Trey Cowans of Paris, TN to be a large-scale Methamphetamine drug dealer in the West Kentucky and West Tennessee area.
During his arrest and throughout this investigation, Cowans was found to be in possession of over 26 pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine that was intended to be distributed throughout the community.
Cowans was placed under arrest with the assistance of the Calloway-Marshall Drug Task Force, Special Agents with the DEA Paducah Post of Duty, and KSP DESI West.
