MAYFIELD (News Firsts) – Today, fifth-grade students from Lindsay Weaks and Jana McCord’s classes participated in a field trip to the Graves County government offices, where they learned about local government. They ended the day at Kess Creek Park. The well-behaved and attentive children were treated to ice cream by the sheriff’s office at the conclusion of their day, including the bus driver who also enjoyed the treat. Farmington parents should be proud of these kids. Sheriff Jon Hayden expressed gratitude to Mrs. Weaks and Mrs. McCord for allowing them to be a part of the students’ day.
