MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) — The Mayfield Police Department arrested 66-year-old Ricky Cornett of Bardwell on April 26, 2024, following a traffic stop prompted by concerned citizens’ reports of an intoxicated driver.
Officers observed Cornett’s vehicle weaving in traffic before conducting the stop. A local business owner also informed officers of Cornett’s intoxicated state after he had been inside the establishment.
Cornett faces charges of Careless Driving and Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol 2nd Offense (Aggravating Circumstances). He was booked into the Marshall County Jail.
