Mayfield (New First) – On Friday, April 26th, at approximately 10:07 a.m., Mayfield Police Department officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Paris Road following a vehicle collision. The incident involved injuries and occurred at the intersection of Paris Road and Cuba Highway.
According to the investigation, 24-year-old Trinity Hewitt, a resident of Puryear, Tennessee, was traveling north on Paris Road in a 2012 Chevrolet pickup. Hewitt was following a 2015 Nissan sedan driven by 50-year-old Angela Kendrick of Mayfield.
As Kendrick reached the intersection and came to a stop at a red light, Hewitt’s vehicle rear-ended the sedan.
Mayfield Emergency Medical Services responded promptly, transporting both drivers to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
