PADUCAH – (News First) – On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at approximately 1407 hours, deputies responded to a two-vehicle rollover collision with injuries at the intersection of Old US Hwy 45 and Englert Road.

According to authorities, Joshua Ringstaff, 47, of West Paducah, was driving a White 2014 Ford Cargo Van on Old US Hwy 45. Lisa Hennesy, 51, of Benton, KY, was operating a Purple 2018 Jeep Wrangler inbound on Old US Hwy 45. The investigation revealed that the Ford Cargo Van, traveling from KY 348 onto Old US Hwy 45, was slowing to turn onto Englert Road. Meanwhile, the Purple Jeep, unable to stop in time, attempted to swerve around the Ford Cargo Van. Consequently, the Purple Jeep collided with the front end of the White Cargo Van and overturned in the roadway.

Emergency responders from Mercy Regional EMS arrived on scene and assessed Hennesy and her passenger, Sandra Woodbridge, 76, also from Benton, KY. Both complained of non-incapacitating injuries. Ringstaff reported no injuries. Hennesy and Woodbridge were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The roadway remained closed for approximately one hour following the incident.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Harper’s Towing.
