PADUCAH, Ky. (News First) — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was notified on May 2, 2024, that a child arrived at a local school with severe injuries consistent with abuse.
An investigation led to the identification of Carlie Elliot, 42, and Brittany Elliott, 28, both of Paducah, as the responsible parties for inflicting the injuries on the child.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail on one count each of Criminal Abuse – 1st Degree – Child 12 or Under, a Class C Felony.
