KUTTAWA, Ky. (News First) — Lyon County Sheriff’s Department advises motorists to expect significant delays on US 62 Eastbound from Barkley Dam to I-24 at Kuttawa until August 1st. The ongoing construction and milling project on I-24 in Livingston County contribute to congested traffic in the area.
To ensure public safety, the department will deploy additional enforcement efforts funded by highway safety grants throughout the summer. Drivers are urged to allocate extra travel time, report road issues, and prioritize seatbelt use.
