SMITHLAND, Ky. (News First) — Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office executed a targeted search warrant at 202 Wilson Street, on Friday, May 3rd, 2024. During the operation, deputies discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia indicative of illicit drug trafficking.
As a result of the raid, authorities arrested 33-year-old Donald “Mark” Hannan and 31-year-old Kailey Watkins, both residents of Smithland, KY. Hannan faces charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st offense (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Watkins has been charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, 1st offense (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The successful operation highlights the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office’s commitment to combating drug-related crime and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. Further investigations into this matter are ongoing.
