PADUCAH, KY – (News First) -The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Dustin Greer, 43, of Calvert City, on Friday afternoon for alleged trafficking in methamphetamine. Detectives initiated an investigation in April 2024 following tips accusing Greer of selling crystal methamphetamine. On 05/03/2024 around 4pm, detectives orchestrated a controlled methamphetamine purchase from Greer at 6900 Benton Road in McCracken County, leading to his immediate arrest. During the inquiry, approximately 60 grams of crystal methamphetamine were seized from Greer, some of which was found concealed in the engine compartment of his vehicle. Greer has been detained in the McCracken County Regional Jail, facing charges of trafficking in methamphetamine (2nd or subsequent offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
