PADUCAH, KY (News First) – On May 2, 2024, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a child arriving at a local school with severe injuries, consistent with abuse. An immediate investigation ensued, identifying Carlie Elliot, 42, and Brittany Elliott, 28, both of Paducah, as the responsible parties for inflicting the injuries on the child. They were arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail on one count of Criminal Abuse – 1st Degree – Child 12 or Under (Class C Felony).
