PADUCAH, Ky. (News First) — The Paducah Police Department is extending an invitation to the public for “Coffee with a Cop” on Wednesday, May 8th, from 7:30 AM to 10 AM at Etcetera Coffeehouse.
This event offers a unique opportunity for community members to engage with law enforcement, ask questions, and gain insights into the department’s initiatives within Paducah’s neighborhoods.
In many cases, interactions between law enforcement and the public occur during emergencies or emotionally charged situations. However, such moments may not always be conducive to fostering community relationships, and some individuals may perceive officers as unapproachable on the streets. “Coffee with a Cop” aims to dismantle these barriers, providing a relaxed setting for one-on-one interactions.
