LOVELACEVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle roll-over collision with injuries on May 9th, 2024, at approximately 12:19 p.m. The incident occurred at the 6700 block of Lovelaceville Road.
According to authorities, Shane Freiberg, 19, of Smithland, Kentucky, was operating his 1995 GMC Yukon traveling west on Lovelaceville Road. Freiberg attempted to overtake another vehicle when he ran off the roadway and overcorrected, causing his vehicle to overturn.
Freiberg sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Mercy Regional EMS for treatment.
Assistance on the scene was provided by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Harpers Towing.
