Murray, KY – May 13, 2024
In the early hours of May 10, 2024, Murray Police Department officials apprehended Jayme Wood (34) of Hardin, KY, following a routine traffic stop on the north side of town. Subsequent to the stop, authorities conducted a search of Wood’s vehicle, leading to the discovery of various illicit substances. Wood has been placed under arrest and is currently detained at the Calloway County Jail, facing multiple charges including:
- Speeding 15 MPH Over Limit
- Possession of Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container
