MAYFIELD, Ky. – The softball game tonight between the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Mayfield Police Department was a huge success, raising significant funds for St. Jude’s.

Sheriff Jon Hayden expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the event, with a special thanks to Graves County Jailer Kelli Elliott and her staff, as well as the Mayfield Lions Club for hosting and organizing the event.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office emerged victorious, though Sheriff Hayden humorously noted the abundance of bumps and bruises among the participants. “Many of us aren’t spring chickens anymore,” he remarked, hoping for no workers’ comp claims in the coming days.

The National Anthem was performed by Jailer Kelli Elliott and WPSD-TV Reporter Calli Stone, who both did an excellent job.

Sheriff Hayden also extended heartfelt thanks to the community for their unwavering support of local law enforcement and St. Jude’s.
