MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — A local resident was scammed out of $1,200 today after falling for a “you missed court and now have a warrant” scheme.
Officials emphasize that neither “Sgt. Todd Ray” nor any other law enforcement officer will ever request money to cancel a warrant. Authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious calls.
