The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced lane restrictions will be encountered on northbound I-57 approximately 3.5 miles south of the US 50 Salem/Sandoval exit (Exit 116) beginning Wednesday, May 22, at 7:15 AM, weather permitting.
The right lane will be closed to allow IDOT District 8 Operations crews to perform bridge deck patching on the bridge over Crooked Creek. All lanes are expected to re-open by 3:30 PM on Friday, May 24.
