MAYFIELD, Ky. – A residence and detached garage near the Kentucky-Tennessee line were burglarized by a male and female suspect on May 11, 2024. Numerous items were stolen, and forced entry caused damage to both a door and a window.
Surveillance footage identified one suspect as 34-year-old Bobby J. McCord, who is known to reside in both the Water Valley area and South Fulton, Tenn. Last week, McCord reportedly hid in a wooded area while sheriff’s detectives searched for him in Water Valley.
One surveillance image shows McCord wearing gloves and carrying a stolen chainsaw. McCord has prior convictions for burglary and multiple thefts.
