PADUCAH, Ky. (News First) — The Paducah Police Department received a plaque yesterday for achieving a 100% score on the 2024 Safety and Liability Review conducted by the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC). The reviews are designed to help KLC insurance members enhance their daily operations by implementing best practices. The evaluation, coupled with a site visit, provides suggestions to improve practices and reduce losses. The assessment covered vehicle operations, firearms/response to resistance, training, leadership, equipment, facility, officer conduct, searches, and investigations, along with various policies and procedures.
