FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 23, 2024) – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced today that action by the Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit resulted in the indictment of Allison Morris, 47, of Graves County, for unlawful theft from the Mayfield/ Graves County Chamber of Commerce.
On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, a Graves County Grand Jury indicted Morris, the former Chamber president, on one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, Greater than $10,000 but Less than $1 Million (Class C Felony). The Graves County Circuit Court scheduled arraignment for June 3, 2024.
The Kentucky State Police investigated the case. Assistant Attorney General Lindsey Studebaker from the Special Prosecutions Unit presented the case before the Graves County Grand Jury on behalf of the Commonwealth.

The charges in an indictment are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
