Work along KY 58 between U.S. 641-Spur and U.S. 641/Main Street

PADUCAH, Ky. (May 23, 2024) – The City of Benton Public Works Department has a utility crew working along KY 58/Mayfield Highway at the west edge of Benton in Marshall County.

The work zone is between the U.S. 641-Spur and U.S. 641-Business/Main Street.  Appropriate caution is required.

At this time the utility crew is working at the edge of the roadway along the right-of-way without impeding traffic flow.  However, depending on the extent of repairs that are required at this site, the crew may have one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers from time to time to facilitate the work.

The crew anticipates working along KY 58 in this area possibly through Friday afternoon.
