MAYFIELD, Ky. (News First) — At 1:10 a.m. on May 25, Deputy Austin Ramage of the Graves County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on the KY 121 Bypass near KY 80 for a traffic violation. As Deputy Ramage approached the vehicle, he detected a strong odor of marijuana. The occupants, identified as Jeffery Terry, 28, of St. Charles, Missouri, and Alyssa Droney-Misbauer, 28, of St. Louis, Missouri, were subsequently arrested after a search of the vehicle yielded 3.2 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and various drug paraphernalia.
Terry was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance (DUI) 1st offense, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine), trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree, 1st offense (over 10 dosage units – hallucinogen), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Droney-Misbauer was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine), trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree, 1st offense (over 10 dosage units – hallucinogen), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputy Ramage was assisted by Detective Sergeant Snapper Seaton of the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Mayfield Police Department. The suspects were transported to an out-of-county detention center by deputies with the Graves County RC Center.
