MARSHALL COUNTY, (News First)— Sheriff Matt Hilbrecht has announced a new initiative aimed at improving communication between his office and the citizens of Marshall County. The program, titled “If it Matters to Marshall, it Matters to Sheriff Matt,” will include a series of meetings throughout the county, allowing residents to voice their concerns directly to the sheriff.

In addition to in-person meetings, Sheriff Hilbrecht will host several Facebook Live sessions for those unable to attend. Deputies will also participate in various community events to foster connections with the citizens they serve.

The first events, co-hosted with the Marshall County Parks Department, will take place throughout June at different park locations. For more details, see the attached flyer. Deputies look forward to engaging with families and children at these events.
