MURRAY, Ky. — On May 25, 2024, at approximately 1 p.m., deputies attempted to take a subject into custody at a residence on Hollytree Drive. The suspect, identified as Adam Pelton, 25, of Murray, Ky., barricaded himself in an RV and refused to comply with deputies’ commands.
During the extraction from the trailer, a deputy sustained a shoulder injury. Pelton was subsequently arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center. No photo of the suspect is available for release at this time.
Pelton faces charges of Assault 3rd Degree-Police Officer (Class D felony) and Resisting Arrest.
