MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — On Saturday, May 25, 2024, at approximately 6:39 a.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of US Highway 45 (Lone Oak Road) and North Friendship Road.
An investigation determined that Destiney Redden, 29, of Murray, Ky., was driving a 2020 GMC Terrain southbound on North Friendship Road, and Latachia Agan, 38, of Paducah, Ky., was driving a 2020 Hyundai Elantra southbound on US Highway 45.
The vehicles collided in the intersection as Redden attempted to turn left (northbound) onto US Highway 45 and Agan continued straight (southbound). The collision caused both vehicles to deploy their airbags, and both drivers reported non-incapacitating injuries.
Redden was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Harper’s Towing.
