MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (May 29, 2024) — At approximately 11:37 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Maxon Road and Harris Road for a two-vehicle collision with injuries.
An investigation revealed that Kyle Sadler, 44, of McCracken County, was operating a 1999 Peterbilt dump truck southbound on Maxon Road. Kathy Mcabee, 80, of Hopkins County, was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer westbound on Harris Road when she pulled into Sadler’s path, causing their vehicles to collide in the intersection.
Mcabee was transported to a local hospital by Mercy Regional EMS for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Concord Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, Harpers Towing, and Lents Towing.
