MILBURN, Ky. — On June 1, around 9 p.m., the Carlisle County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a resident in the 700 block of State Route 1371, reporting that David Reeves and his wife, April Reeves, had entered a rental house without permission. The house, owned by the caller, was already occupied by a new tenant.

David Reeves, known to local law enforcement and with an active arrest warrant, was observed exiting the residence when Sheriff Eric Perry, Carlisle County deputies, and Kentucky State Police arrived. Reeves attempted to flee back inside but was quickly detained and arrested on his outstanding warrant.

April Reeves was found sleeping inside the house. It appeared the couple had returned to live in the residence, bringing clothing and food. Both were issued trespass warnings and informed they would be arrested if they returned to the property. The property owner chose not to press charges for their unauthorized entry.

David Reeves was arrested by Kentucky State Police Trooper Kelly Underhill, who had conducted the investigation leading to the warrant for Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence (Minor Injury). April Reeves was not charged with any crimes.
