PADUCAH, Ky. (News First) – A Paducah woman was arrested Saturday night after allegedly stabbing one woman and cutting another during an altercation on the 2300 block of Ohio Street.

Osheonna S. Garnett, 23, of Ohio Street, was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault following the incident. According to Paducah police, officers responded to a report of unknown trouble and discovered that Garnett had stabbed one victim in the abdomen and cut a second victim who attempted to intervene.

The first victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a Louisville hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. The second victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.
