PADUCAH, Ky. (News First) — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Hovekamp Road and Yarbro Lane on Saturday, June 8, at approximately 12:24 p.m.

An investigation determined that Margaret Reese, 83, of Paducah, was driving a 2017 Jeep Compass southbound on Yarbro Lane. William Guminski, 66, of Kevil, was driving a 2009 Chevy Silverado eastbound on Hovekamp Road. The vehicles collided when Reese attempted to turn left onto Hovekamp Road, while Guminski continued straight.

The impact caused Reese’s Jeep Compass to leave the roadway and enter a nearby ditch. Reese was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Reidland-Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Lent’s Towing.
