PADUCAH, Ky. – On June 15, 2024, at approximately 3:48 p.m., McCracken County sheriff’s deputies responded to an injury collision on I-24 eastbound near the 16-mile marker.
The investigation revealed that Diane Nedvidek, 37, was operating a 2021 Ford Bronco eastbound on I-24 when she collided with a 2019 Buick Encore driven by Vicki Sharp, 71. Both vehicles went off the roadway and overturned in the median of I-24 and the Exit 16 on-ramp. Nedvidek and Sharp had to be extracted by mechanical means.
Nedvidek and her two children were transported to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. Sharp was also transported to a local hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Reidland Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance.
