Closure near Crittenden-Livingston Water Tower Atop Moore Hill
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 17, 2024) – As a reminder, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of U.S. 60 West of Marion in Crittenden County on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
A crew will be at the site today to saw-cut pavement and complete other prep work to help speed replacement of a cross-drain during the planned on Tuesday. Today, motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
On Tuesday, U.S. 60 will be closed at the 6.25 mile point near the Crittenden-Livingston Water Tower atop Moore Hill to repair a cross drain. This is along U.S. 60 between KY 297 and KY 1668/Crittenden Springs Road.
The roadway at this site is expected to close promptly at 6:30 a.m., CDT, Tuesday. U.S. 60 West is expected to reopen to traffic around 2 p.m., Tuesday.
There will be no marked detour.

Commercial trucks should seek a route appropriate to weight.
KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely notice should the work on U.S. 60 be completed earlier than expected.
