Two-Vehicle Collision on Lone Oak Road Injures One
On June 23, 2024, at approximately 1:55 p.m., deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle collision at 2560 Lone Oak Road. An investigation revealed that April Gregory, 47, of Paducah, was waiting to make a right turn onto Lone Oak Road. Wanda Burton, 60, of Mayfield, was traveling inbound on Lone Oak Road when Gregory turned into her path, resulting in a collision. Burton’s vehicle came to rest in the opposite lane.
Burton was transported by EMS for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries. The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and Lents Towing.
