PADUCAH,, Ky. News First) — Day 2 of the Jr. Citizens’ Police Academy concluded with participants being sworn in as Jr. Officers and assigned radio numbers. The young officers worked on radio traffic, traffic stops, and citation writing with Officers Morgan, White, and Ravens.
They also received a visit from Officer Noah Willett of the Crisis Negotiation Team, who discussed the team’s role and shared de-escalation tips.
