On October 22, 2024, the Mayfield Police Department arrested 20-year-old Anthony Sanchez of Edinburg, TX on a warrant out of Graves County for Assault 2nd Degree. Sanchez was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
On 10/21/2024, Officers with the Mayfield Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Wilford Street for an unwanted subject. The caller stated that her husband, who she is separated from, was at her home, attempting to kick in the door. Officers arrived and found 27-year-old Owen Brunk standing in the front yard. The complainant stated that she wanted Brunk trespassed from her property. After serving Brunk with the trespassing form, Brunk refused to leave. Officers placed Brunk under arrest without incident. Brunk was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center, then lodged in the Marshall County Jail. Brunk was charged with Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree.
On 10/20/2024, Raymond Ryles, age 47 of Benton, was arrested by the Mayfield Police Department, pursuant to a traffic stop. Mr. Ryles was charged with the following: Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy /Possess. Mr. Ryles was lodged in McCracken County Jail.
On 10/19/2024, Mayfield Police Department Officers responded to a residence on a report of domestic violence. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the victim and Terra Utley, age 35 of Mayfield. Utley was placed under arrest and charged with Assault 4th Degree Dating Violence (Minor Injury). Utley was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center and turned over to the Graves County Jail, for transport to McCracken County.
On 10/18/24, the Mayfield Police Department arrested William Powers, age 45 of Mayfield, on an arrest warrant. Powers was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on the charge of Bail Jumping 2nd Degree.
On 10/17/2024, the Mayfield Police Department arrested 58-year-old Phillip Barnes of Mayfield pursuant to a traffic stop. Barnes was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol 1st Offense. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
10/17/2024, Jeremiah Wood, 41 years old of Paducah was arrested on two warrants out of Marshall County for Contempt of Court, Failure to Appear. He was additionally charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree. The Mayfield Police Department was notified that Mr. Wood was at a local business. While attempting to arrest Mr. Wood, he fled from the business on foot. Shortly after exiting the business Mr. Wood was apprehended by police behind the business. Mr. Wood was transported to an out of county jail.
On 10/16/2024, the Mayfield Police Department arrested 45-year-old Wendy Jarvis of New Concord pursuant to a traffic stop. Jarvis was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving on a DUI Suspended License 1st Offense. She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
10/16/2024 In the early morning hours of 08/13/2024, Mayfield Police Department (MPD) Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a gas station on US-45 North. When Officers arrived on scene, they observed broken glass and merchandise scattered throughout the store. Surveillance video showed two individuals involved in the burglary. Less than one week later, in the early morning hours of 08/17/2024, MPD Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a business on Paris Road. The front door of the business had been shattered and Officers observed damaged display cases and numerous items of merchandise scattered throughout the store. Throughout the course of the investigation, Michael Shelburne (age 18 of Wingo), Alexander Long (age 19 of Mayfield) and James Long (age 20 of Mayfield) were identified as perpetrators of the burglaries. Michael Shelburne and Alexander Long confessed to the burglaries of the stores on Paris Road and US-45 North. James Long confessed to the burglary of the store on Paris Road. Alexander Long additionally confessed to the burglary of a store located on US-45 South in Wingo. The burglary in Wingo was being investigated by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Shelburne was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (2 Counts) and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree (2 Counts).
Alexander Long was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (2 Counts) and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree (2 Counts).
James Long was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree.
On 10/15/24, the Mayfield Police Department arrested Ricky Truelove, age 58 of Mayfield, on an arrest warrant. Truelove was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on the charge of Contempt of Court Libel/Slander Resistance to Order.
On October 7, 2024, the Mayfield Police Department, along with the Mayfield Fire Department, responded to 812 W. Farthing street (Mayfield Water & Electric) for a structure fire. Once the fire was extinguished security video was reviewed of the incident. It was determined that an individual intentionally set fire to the structure. The arsonist stole numerous items from MEWS’ trucks along with items from inside the structure. The suspect left in a stolen bucket truck, but returned back to the scene, before stealing another truck, and leaving the area. The stolen truck was later recovered in a field not far from the incident. Some of the stolen items were also recovered in that area as well. Physical evidence was collected along with the security video. The video has been forwarded to the Secret Service for enhancement. Other evidence will be sent to the Kentucky State Police laboratory for DNA testing. Attached is one of the snapshots of the suspect. On 10/14/2024, the Mayfield Police Department arrested Marty Watkins, age 26 of Mayfield, on an arrest warrant. Watkins was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on the charge of Failure to Appear.
On 10/13/2024 an Officer with the Mayfield Police Department contacted 47-year-old Devin Hart at his home in Mayfield. Hart had an active arrest warrant out of Graves County. Hart was placed under arrest without incident, and transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center. Hart was charged with Failure to Appear in Graves County District Court.
On 10/13/2024, The Mayfield Police Department responded to a residence for a disturbance. During the investigation of the disturbance, Marco Sirilo age 23 of Mayfield, was arrested for Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Disorderly Conduct, 2nd Degree. Mr. Sirilo was lodged at Marshall County Jail.
On 10/12/2024, the Mayfield Police Department served a Bench Warrant out of Graves County District Court on Vinisha Stubberfield, age 41 of Mayfield, for Non- Payment of Court Cost, Fees or Fines related to the original charge of No Operator’s License. Ms. Stubberfield was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody. Ms. Stubberfield was then and transported to Marshall County Jail.
On 10/11/24, the Mayfield Police Department arrested Allen Weeks, age 42 of Mayfield, and Laura Butler, age 49 of Savannah, TN. Officers observed Weeks at a residence, and had knowledge that he had an active, arrest warrant. Further investigation led to the discovery of illegal drugs and paraphernalia. Butler was additionally apprehended at the residence. Both were taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center.
Allen Weeks was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure To Appear.
Butler was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
On 10/10/2024, the Mayfield Police Department arrested Krystal Mayrovitz, age 32 of Mayfield, on an arrest warrant. Mayrovitz was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on the charge of Failure to Appear.
10/09/2924 Dewayne Isbell, age 60 of Mayfield, was arrested Wednesday morning by the Mayfield Police Department. Isbell was located at a residence after a call for a suspicious person was reported. Isbell was found to have an active warrant for Violation of Felony Probation. Isbell was placed under arrest, and transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center for transport and housing.
On 10/06/2024, Mayfield Police Department Officers responded to a residence on a report of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance. Upon the Officers’ arrival, contact was made with Noah King, age 20 of Mayfield, outside the residence. Mr. King was intoxicated, and had told Officers that he had been drinking. King was placed under arrest, and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place. King was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center, and turned over to the Graves County Jail for transport to McCracken County.
On 10/05/2024 at approximately 08:11 am, Mayfield Police Department Officers responded to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center Emergency Room in reference to a non-compliant female patient. When Officers arrived on scene, the woman was identified as 34-year-old Gina Rector, of Hazard. While inside the emergency room, Rector refused medical treatment, and signed herself out against medical advice. While on scene, Kentucky State Police Dispatch informed Officers of two active arrest warrants for Rector. She was then taken into custody, and transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center for booking. Rector is charged with two counts of Contempt of Court issued by the Perry County Circuit Court.
On 10/04/2024, Fernando Hernandez Ixcoy, age 32 of Mayfield, was arrested by the Mayfield Police Department, pursuant to a traffic stop. Mr. Ixcoy was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence 1st, Failure of Owner to maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense, Possession of Open Container in Motor Vehicle Prohibited, Operating on Suspended or Revoked License, and No Registration Receipt. Mr. Ixcoy was lodged in McCracken County Jail.
On 09/03/2024, the Mayfield Police Department went to a residence on the south side of town to assist EMS. While at the residence a Howard Greer, age 39 of Mayfield, was arrested for DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2ND DEGREE. Mr. Greer was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center, and later taken to Calloway County Jail.
On 09/26/2024, a Mayfield Police Department Officer served an arrest warrant on Jordan Burgie, age 31 of Mayfield. Burgie was placed under arrest, and charged with Bail Jumping 1st Degree. Burgie was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center, and turned over to the Graves County Jail for transport to Marshall County.
On 09/24/24, the Mayfield Police Department arrested Ryan Green, age 38 of Lackey, on arrest warrants. Green was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on the charge of Contempt of Court Libel/Slander Resistance to Order (5 counts).
On 09/24/24, the Mayfield Police Department arrested Nicole Powers, age 40 of Murray, on an arrest warrant. Powers was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on the charge of Failure to Appear.
On Sunday, September 22, 2024 an Officer with the Mayfield Police Department observed 62-year-old Roy Matheny outside a local business. Knowing that Matheny had an active arrest warrant, the Officer made contact with him. Matheny was placed under arrest without incident. Upon searching Matheny, the Mayfield Officer located marijuana in Matheny’s pocket. Matheny was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center. Matheny was lodged into the McCracken County Jail, charged with the Graves County warrant for Contempt of Court. Matheny was cited into court for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
