Night traffic restriction in place from 10 p.m., to 6 a.m., CDT
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 28, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans an overnight work zone lane restriction along Interstate 24 westbound from the KY 305 Paducah Exit 3 Interchange extending across the I-24 Ohio River Bridge starting at 10 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2024.
This work zone for I-24 westbound traffic beginning around the 3 mile marker is to allow brush cutting, pothole patching, and debris removal along the I-24 Ohio River Bridge approach. This work zone restriction will extend across the Ohio River bridge to Illinois.
Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic with maintenance crews working at various locations along this work zone from 10 p.m., Sunday to about 6 a.m., CDT, Monday, July 1.
All traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane in this work zone. The crew will start at the I-24 Paducah Exit 3 westbound entry ramp and work toward Illinois.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
