Westbound restriction today – Eastbound Restriction Tuesday
PADUCAH, Ky. (July 8, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone lane restriction on the U.S. 60 (Irvin Cobb Drive) Beltline Overpass in Paducah, today and Tuesday.
Today, motorists should be prepared to encounter a westbound work zone lane restriction starting at the Brown Street traffic signal at mile point 15.3 extending westward across the U.S. 60 Beltline Overpass area to the KY 994 (Old Mayfield Road) intersection at mile point 14.3.
This work zone is expected to be in place from approximately 8 a.m., CDT, to about 4 p.m., each day.
Weather permitting, there will be an eastbound work zone in this same area starting at the KY 994 (Old Mayfield Road) traffic signal extending eastward across the U.S. 60 Beltline Overpass on Tuesday, July 9.
All traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane to allow brush cutting along the guardrails along the overpass.
Some minor delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
