Utility work expected to take about a day
PADUCAH, Ky. (July 9, 2024) – A contractor for the Paducah-McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency plans a work zone lane restriction along U.S. 60-Business (Park Avenue) in Paducah on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
This work zone along the eastbound lanes of U.S. 60-Business in the 2100 block of Park Avenue near McNabb Elementary School is to allow a sewer line to be replaced.
All eastbound traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane at this worksite along the 4-lane section of U.S. 60-Business between North 22nd Street and North 21st Street. This is immediately west of the area where the one-way sections of U.S. 60 along Park Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive merge into Park Avenue.
This work zone for utility work is expected to be in place from 9 a.m., CDT, to about 3 p.m., Wednesday.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and utility personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
