JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (News First) — The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that maintenance on the bridge carrying northbound Interstate 57 over eastbound Interstate 64 in Jefferson County will require lane closures starting, weather permitting, at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, to 7 a.m. Friday, July 12.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the construction site as quickly as possible. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changing conditions, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
