Nearly 200 residents in Southern Illinois are without power this morning after storms rolled through the area. As of 7:30 am, American Illinois reports that 32 customers in Franklin County, 13 in Jefferson County, and 15 in Perry County are affected. The Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives reports that 43 customers in Franklin County, five in Hamilton County, and 90 in Jefferson County are without power.

A flash flood warning has been issued for Jefferson and Perry County in Illinois until 11 am today (Tues, July 16th). The National Weather Service says two to four inches of rain have fallen with small creeks, streams, poor drainage, and low-lying areas most affected.
