A truck driver was seriously injured in an accident in Iron County yesterday (Thurs, July 25th). The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 2 pm near Highway 32, approximately eight miles from Bixby, when the big rig Minuard B. Abney of Ironton was driving veered off the right side of the road and flipped. Abney was flown to a St. Louis hospital with serious injuries. The Highway Patrol says he was not wearing a seat belt and the truck is totaled.
