The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Heat Advisory for portions of East Central and Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois from 1 pm Monday, July 29th until 7 pm Thursday, August 1st. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Heat indexes are expected to reach up to 111.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
