A Cape Girardeau man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Cape Girardeau on Saturday (Aug 3rd). The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened at US 61 at Route CC, five miles north of Fruitland when 33-year-old Robert T Edmonds ran off the left side of the road and overturned in his 2001 Harley-Davidson. Edmonds was ejected from the vehicle and taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. His bike was totaled and condition is unknown.
