A 72-year-old Wood River, Illinois man is lucky to be alive after a one-vehicle motorcycle crash in Ste. Genevieve County on Saturday (Aug 3rd). The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 1:22 pm on Route WW near Holmes Road when a Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide driven by Dennis D. Rigsby failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road, overturned, and ejected Rigsby. Rigsby suffered serious injuries and was flown to St. Louis University Hospital. His condition is unknown.
