The City of Arnold will construct Arnold Parkway, a nearly two-mile road that stretches from Richardson Road north through Arnold Crossroads to Highway 141. The $75 million road upgrade will be funded without a tax increase by the Arnold Retail Corridor Transportation Development District and the city.

According to city officials, the parkway will connect two I-55 interchanges within the Arnold city limits, alleviating congestion on the interstate and also increasing commerce.

City officials confirm they won’t begin to seek road construction bids until August 2025. Work is expected to start in late 2025 with the bulk of the construction during 2026. Many homes and businesses will have to be purchased for the project to be completed.
