KYTC will be making concrete repairs at Clarks River Bridge from 10 p.m. Tuesday through 3 a.m. Wednesday
PADUCAH, Ky. (August 8, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to block a section of KY 1462 (Benton-Birmingham Road) during overnight hours on Tuesday, August 13 to make necessary repairs to the Clarks River Bridge.
The roadway will be blocked from KY 408 (East 12th Street/ Egners Ferry Road) in the city of Benton to Benton Briensburg Road at the 1.3 mile point. The closure will last from 10 p.m. until around 3 a.m.
Crews will be conducting concrete patching on the bridge during the closure.
There will be no marked detour for this overnight project, but motorists can self detour by staying on KY 408 to U.S. 68.
