DESOTO, Mo (News First) – A man from Desoto was injured last (Monday) night after striking a deer with his motorcycle in Jefferson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Y Highway, just west of Russell Road when a motorcycle driven by 19-year-old Logan H. Stevenson struck a deer, the bike slid across the centerline, throwing Stevenson off the motorcycle. Stevenson received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City for treatment.
