A new school year is underway at the Iron County C-4 School District in Viburnum. Tuesday was the first day for students. Tyler Coleman is the junior high and high school principal. He tells how the first day went and describes an important new policy for the district.
Coleman says some school districts have already had this policy in place.
The Viburnum School District has one other principal. That’s Michele Merseal who leads the Viburnum Elementary and Middle Schools. Coleman believes enrollment at Viburnum should be close to what they had last school year.
