St. Francois County
A portion of Route 221 in St. Francois County is closed as construction is now underway. This section of 221 is between Old Vandergriff Road and Howell Road near Doe Run. Weather permitting, work will take place now through Wednesday, October 30th. The road will remain closed until the work is completed. A marked detour will be in place. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
Route Y in St. Francois County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews trim the trees along the roadside. This section of roadway is located from Route D to Office Road at Goose Creek. Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, August 23rd from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work zone will be marked with signs and flaggers will be present. Shannon County
The Missouri Department of Transportation is undertaking an environmental assessment and conducting public involvement to assess and refine conceptual alternatives to rehabilitate or replace the Route 19 bridges over the Current River in Shannon County.
Wayne County
A portion of southbound Route 67 in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform guardrail repairs. This section of roadway is located near Wayne County Road 303. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, August 22nd through Friday, Aug. 30th from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Cape Girardeau County
A portion of northbound I-55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform guardrail repairs. This section of I-55 is located from mile marker 117.8 to mile marker 118. Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, August 22nd through Friday, August 30th from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Ste. Genevieve County
Route O in Ste. Genevieve County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform a culvert replacement. This section of roadway is located between Kimmel Lake Road to Pine Road, near Greyhawk. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, September 9th through Thursday, September 12th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily The work zone will be marked with signs.
