Well, the heat has returned. Temperatures today through Friday will be in the 90s. There will likely be some reporting stations that hit the 100-degree mark.
The EC model shows those hot temperatures.
Heat index values will range from 100 to 106 degrees.
This heat will have an impact on outdoor activities. School is back in session. Sports practices should use care. It would not take much for kids to overheat.
The hottest days will be Tuesday through Thursday.
A cold front arrives Friday and Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will low into the 80s by Saturday and Sunday.
Try and stay cool!
Don’t forget our outdoor friends. Change their water bowls several times a day.
