MILWAUKEE (News First) – The St. Louis Cardinals were outslugged by the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday afternoon at American Family Field. The Brew Crew downed the Birds by slugging three home runs, a 3-run shot in the first, a two-run blast in the 4th, and the game clincher was a grand slam in the 6th inning. The Cards hit two dingers themselves and that was thanks to their catcher Pedro Pages (pa-HAYS). He slugged his 4th and 5th long balls of the season but unfortunately, they were both solo shots. Starting pitcher Andre Pallante was the losing pitcher, dropping his record to 6-7. The Cards and Brewers will play again Tuesday night in Milwaukee.
