FARMINGTON, Mo (News First) – The St. Francois County Shop with a Cop program continues to raise money, leading up to Christmas time. Lora Henson is in charge of Shop with a Cop. She describes this worthwhile program.
Henson says if you can, show up at the Walmarts in Farmington or Desloge during Shop with a Cop Day in December.
In the first year of Shop with a Cop in St. Francois County, 86 underprivileged kids participated. Last year, it was 612 and Henson says for this year, they expect that number to continue to climb. To donate to the program, call 573-431-2777 and ask for Lora Henson.
